Massage
for everyone
One of the most important things to me as a therapist is building up a trust between myself and my client. Working together to achieve the most beneficial results from the treatment. This includes helping with breathing to encourage relaxation and release tension.
I use a variety of techniques from long slow strokes to deep trigger-point work on stubborn areas of congestion. I might also suggest that dry needling or medical acupuncture may be beneficial to your treatment.
I also try to offer my clients ways in which they can continue to help themselves on the road to recovery such as self massage techniques, stretches and exercises.
I work in two London clinics. West Norwood and West Hampstead. I have massaged at events such as the London Marathon, The Royal Parks Half, Run to the Beat Half, Ride It-King of the Downs, England Athletics 10,000m championships & Highgate Harriers Night of the 10,000m PBs and annually at the Windrush Aquathlon.
I trained at the London School of Sports Massage and hold an ISRM/BTEC (level 5) professional Diploma in Clinical Sport & Remedial Massage Therapy.
Tessa has an instinctive intelligent handling of the body. I felt immediately at ease and could tell from first contact I was in good hands. Her knowledge of the bodies soft tissues was apparent during the session. I would not hesitate to recommend Tessa as an excellent sports and remedial massage therapist.
